2012 Crown League Preview

Thought I'd take a crack at this and try to put up some sort of preview.

Arsenal comes into play this year without a manager and a serious financial hardship as the team is over half a million dollars in debt. T_Cary anchors the team as their starting keeper and at 28 is one of the top keepers in the division. As long as he is healthy it will be tough to score on this club. The team also boasts a pair of top flight defenders in E. Beck and B. Leggott; both under the age of 25. The defensive side of this team is in place for many years and will be a major strength. Manchester United Wins Champions League Again


Two for Two: Man U Repeats As CL Champions

Manchester United won their second straight Champions League Title on Tuesday, taking down Portugese squad Pacos de Ferriera by a 2-1 margin. With the win, the Red Devils have now taken both of the IFF Champions League Titles. The title game was the closest battle that Man U had the whole way along, but even then Pacos struggled on offense, and the only goal for the Portugese squad came via an accidental own goal. Bolton already relegated will be looking for a morale boost so they can take positives into next season, Man City on the other hand will be looking a good performance to end the season.

Portsmouth - West Bromwich
Pompey still have an outside chance of qualifying for Europe next season if the can beat West Brom who will be on a high after last week’s win and looking for another scalp.
